My name is Kyle Poehls, founder of SkyPrairie Aerial Works. I started this company out of a passion for both technology and art. There’s nothing quite like the view from above, and I’m excited to share that unique perspective with you.

​

Before this, I served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps, but my life took an unexpected turn in 2017. After suffering two comas due to a medical condition, I found myself facing a complete physical and emotional recovery. I had to relearn basic functions like walking, talking, and even holding a pencil. It was a grueling journey, but it also completely reshaped my outlook on life.


And though it’s been a long road, my time in recovery brought me to where I am today, launching SkyPrairie Aerial Works, which is my way of embracing life’s second chances and pursuing what I truly love.
